Saturday, December 20, 2014 — Global Syn-Turf, Inc., organized an important panel discussion with professionals in the synthetic grass industry in Anaheim, CA. The discussion was a conference panel session with several attendees.
Consistent with the conference theme, “Synthetic Awareness: Evolving Dimensions of the Synthetic Turf Industry,” the discussion panel explored the role the synthetic turf profession can play in effecting environmental sustainability and eliminating resource overconsumption around the world. A number of topics were covered, including (1) How the drought in California has changed the industry, (2) Proper standards of installation and service for residential installations, (3) Potential means of distributing educational materials to professional artificial grass installers around the United States, and (4) How mobile technology will affect the industry in the future.
“We hope that one day the Synthetic Turf Industry Leadership Conference will become a premier event for professionals in the artificial grass industry to network, exchange ideas and learn from some those on the cutting edge of the industry,” says Rachel Brady, Marketing and Sales Manager of Global Syn-Turf, Inc. “We are excited to be a part of establishing this educational conference and look forward to meeting and learning from our peers and colleagues.”
STILC was intended for contractors, landscapers, gardeners, landscape contractors and synthetic turf professionals. Attendees experienced the opportunity to learn about expert techniques and perspectives, and had time to network, establish business partnerships, and explore the neighborhood, which included Disneyland Resort.
“Hilton Anaheim Hotel was the perfect venue for this conference,“ says Rachel Brady. “With Disneyland Resort and shopping and restaurants within walking distance, attendees were surrounded by creativity and ingenuity. We hope they are inspired by the experience.”
